Landscapes – Seascapes – Oil Painting:
Marilyn Kime lives in the Eastern Suburbs. She is one of the founding members of the Randwick Art Society and is the current Treasurer. She paints with the Coast Centre for Seniors at Little Bay. Marilyn is a retired nurse. Her specialty was Geriatrics. She studied Dementia, helped many families living with Dementia and was passionate about enabling her staff to understand the implications of working with the elderly. Marilyn has lived and worked in the outback of the Northern Territory, in Far North Queensland and overseas, as well as in NSW. These experiences provided inspiration for her art; reflected in the wide variety of colour used in her paintings. Marilyn paints in oils, usually landscapes and seascapes. She has studied with Ruth Heiner, one of Far North Queensland’s finest artists and also with John Wilson, well known in the Blue Mountains of NSW. For a new challenge, she would like to learn how to paint birds.
